Working with Roofs In Chief Architect

Steve Writes: I have tried this over and over again on the 4 square plan but am unable to create a hip or gable roof over the porch in the front on the house. I also have no attic so I can't recreate the dormer that is coming off the front of the house either. I have reached the end of my rope after looking all over the internet for answers. If you would be able to help me out thank you.
