Working with Attic Walls In Chief Architect

Tom Gillespie askes: I am e-mailing you instead of posting a question on hd pro talk line because the problem I have is similar to one of your videos. I have a hole in a wall just like the one you corrected in the SALT BOX ROOF video.

I am following the directions but there is no bah dah boom bah dah bing for me. 2d display doesn't show the polyline and the cross section/elevation wants to paint the inside wall.i am using a polyline box to select the area. Is your solution only repairable in X2? Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.
